Background
Game On brings together several games you can play right in the browser, with nothing to install. Each game is a standalone JavaScript module integrated into WordPress, which manages the content, scores and leaderboards.
What I did
A playground, quite literally, to push JavaScript and animation further.

A variety of games
An animated drag-and-drop matching game, a color game scored on human perception (CIELAB), chess against the Stockfish engine, a block puzzle and a daily riddle drawn from more than 150 riddles.

WordPress as the back office
Leaderboards, riddles and game data served through the REST API; player progress is saved in the browser.

Built for mobile
Touch controls and interfaces adapted to small screens, all the way to the chessboard.
